    ASUU threatens nationwide strike over outstanding demands

    The Academic Staff Union of Universities warned it may embark on a nationwide strike if long‑standing issues—such as the renegotiation of a 2009 agreement and salary arrears—remain unresolved. The union said industrial harmony depends on credible timelines from government on funding and welfare commitments.
