Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has declared the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as the only political party capable of salvaging Nigeria, urging voters in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to support its candidates in the forthcoming local council elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Atiku made the remarks on Thursday while joining the campaign trail of Dr. Moses Paul, the ADC chairmanship candidate for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), ahead of the February 21 FCT Area Council elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking during a visit to Apo Wasa, Atiku described Dr. Paul, popularly known as Dr. Mo, as a credible and relatable candidate capable of earning the trust of young people and residents of Abuja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDr. Mo represents the kind of leadership young Nigerians in Abuja can connect with and trust to shape the future of the Municipal Council,\u201d Atiku said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The former vice president encouraged voters across the FCT, particularly in AMAC, to cast their ballots for ADC candidates, describing the move as the first step toward unseating what he termed the \u201cfailed APC government.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cADC is undoubtedly the party that will salvage Nigeria,\u201d Atiku stated. \u201cThe surest place to begin is with Dr. Mo and AMAC.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
